I think Parenthood is the best thing on TV since Knotts Landing! I usually have to watch via DVR during off hours or in the office since the main T.V. seems to be stuck on FOX News. I'm pretty surprised that O'Reilly's image is not burned into the TV screen yet. grin
Knots Landing!!! Donna Mills!!!!!

Remember Falcon Crest??

Hoarders is too much for me also...I don't think that's a disease I could ever truly understand.

Pawn Stars...I imagine that many of the posters here look like The Old man (Pale), Big Hoss (AG), and Chumley (BaconBoy, peepers, and JJ)...

The first time I saw this show, I was so freaked out I could hardly sleep that night. I just wanted to stay up cleaning my entire house! My husband has watched a few episodes of the TLC version of this show ("Hoarders: Buried Alive" or maybe it is "Hoarding. . .") with me and I think it has helped him a bit. He is no hoarder, but has packrat tendencies (as does my son) and I always tell him when we are watching, "This could be you in a few years!"

I saw about 15 minutes of Hoarders once, it was very depressing, the guy was having a meltdown because they were throwing away an old torn circus poster from when he was a kid...he was cursing the doctor, his son, his grandson, even the camera people...i had to change it, way too depressing

I think MB Guy mentioned American Pickers (or something like that).

It's not my favorite show but the thing I find funny about it is the junk they find then make an offer to some old codger and he think's they're nuts and wants much more.

Who else but these two would even offer you a dollar for the [censored] you have in your yard or garage or old barn?

**sad post warning**

i think the worst hoarders episode i saw was a crossover ANIMAL COPS case. this woman had MILLIONS of cats. alas as they were cleaning out, they found multiple dead ones, ranging from new litters to adults. awful.

I watched an episode of Pawn Stars last night and there are some crazy people on that show. Some lady came in with a piece of the Berlin wall aka a small rock (probably from her backyard) and thought she could get $500 for it! The guy (don't know his name) literally laughed at her and said "I'll give you $5 for it". The look on her face was priceless!
