Do credit files have to document when the customer was provided the "special information booklet"? I'm not seeing this is our files when doing an audit, and was wondering if we're in complinace.

our file has a checklist and the booklet is on it. We also make sure our procedures clearly state that the customer is to receive the booklet....

Ours prints out when the application (blank or completed) is printed from the software. There's no way to forget to provide it.....no supplies to maintain. It's also on our checklist.
