We had a customer close a CD and we issued them a cashier's check. The customer then cashed the cashier's check, so the affected account is our cashier's check account. Do we list the CD account # anywhere on the CTR? Thanks for any help!

I would not list the CD. If you need to find the item at some time the DDA account# is what you'll need.

So we just treat this as a normal Negotiable Instrument Cashed? Thanks for the help!

That's how i would file it. Only if the CD were cashed out would i list the CD.
