Does anyone have any RESPA Training materials they would be willing to share? Okay, that may be a bit vague. I am specifically looking for training information on the completion of GFE/HUD1 and describing the Required Service Provider provision.

When RESPA was first applied to junior lien loans, about ten years ago, NBD Bank (now part of Bank One) developed a training video on how to complete the GFE and other disclosures for bank personnel. I do not have a copy, but you might ask some of the banks if they still have training materials for their retail lending operations for RESPA compliance from that time period.

I don't have any training material to offer, but suggest you reprint (or place on a power-point slide) the section from HUD's Reg X under 3500.7 (e). To that, you could add examples that are typical to your loans, like name of flood cert company and other providers that don't come under the list of five or more.
