Does anyone know the rationale behind the following change in language for the Home-Equity Billing Rights? The sentence which formerly read as:

If you have authorized us to make payments upon your account automatically from your savings or checking account….

has been changed to:

If you have authorized us to pay your credit card bill automatically from your savings or checking account…

Our HELOCs are not credit card accounts so the terminology of "credit card bill" would not apply. I can not figure out why this change was made when other provisions of the credit card act were clearly not applicable to Home Equities even when there was card access.

oh, nice! I haven't even noticed that.

Our's aren't either, what a mess. It looks like they were trying to make the words "simpler"...but credit card? How confusing is that?!?
