Has anyone read the book the show is based on? It is nothing like the show. The Flash Forward occurs 21 years ahead and Simcoe is the focus of the book, which is based in Geneva Switzerland, not L.A. If you are into the science behind it, the book goes into more detail.

Yeah, last nite's episode was so amazing. So what is Janis? A double agent mole? That Savant guy is creepy, and it makes one wonder that if Olivia doesn't choose to go with Lloyd and stay with Mark, what kind of impact that will have on the future? Next week's episode looked kind of crazy with somebody trying to kill all those who didn't have a Flash Forward. I like what walden said-the plot thickens- and it's so thick, it's hard to stir it with a spoon or at least that's what my mema always said.

I love that they restored Janis back to the good side. Possibly. Loved how they did it in flashbacks and revealed the final key when she was talking to Vogel 2 years ago.

Now knowing that, I think that when Vogel says "Binford is dead" in Charlies Flash Forward, it is not true-just a set up for Janice to tell the pet store woman...Janice may or may not nkkow for sure

Did anyone pay any attention to who Vogel told that to? Is it yet another mole or maybe someone with Jericho?

Not sure-at the time it didn't jump out at me.

I have some older episodes still on my DVR. I went back and reviewed the episode and could not make out the character. he maybe one that is introduced later in the series, but his identity hasn't really been addressed in the series.

Last week's episode was pretty good. Interesting to find out some things about Simon and the possibility that he might be the creator of the next blackout. I really hope ABC keeps this show. I know there have been some rumblings that the show isn't doing as good as what ABC was expecting. I remember the last time I tried to watch a series like this on ABC called the Nine, it got canceled before the season was over. If this keeps up, I might have to boycott ABC bc it seems like they keep canceling the shows I like to watch. Anyways, I am really anxious to see next week to c what happens and if they plan to carry through with their plan to kill Benford. I'll guess we'll all have to tune in and find out.

I stopped watching this show after 4 episodes because it didn't seem to move forward at all. Too much of "I see myself with another man!" and rehashing the same story. But from reading this thread, I might give it another chance. Maybe when it comes out on DVD.

Double U, I second your thoughts on "The Nine" - my husband and I really liked that show and it was pulled off the air and we never got any answers or "closure" - it was annoying. Ever since then I have a hard time getting attached to a new show.

Someone once wrote that the way they cancel these shows now is like "giving someone a book, getting them interested, and then they get to page 211 and the rest of the book is blank" - it's so frustrating!

Direct TV runs the Nine on its channel, I have watched it a few times, so there is no conclusion?

I also loved the Nine too. When Flash Forward came back after the Olympics, it really picked up the pace. I think I heard somewhere by May 15th, we will know if there will be a season 2 or not.

Loved the comparison of an incomplete book to shows that get pulled off the air.

I just read on E! Online that ABC sources are saying "Flash Forward" has not been picked up for next season. So it's done. And this is exactly why I stopped watching it when it went on hiatus...

I saw the reports that it has been cancelled. I actually think that the show has been much better since the hiatus. I am kind of shocked that Flash Forward is cancelled and V has been renewed for the fall. I have watched both of them and IMHO, Flash Forward is much better.

I never even bothered watching "V" because I heard it was not very good. Flash Forward lost me after about 4 episodes and then after it went on hiatus, I just never went back to it. Although I thought about watching the first season on DVD and if it got better, I'd pick it back up next season. Oh well, there goes that.

Lost will anger many viewers even though they finish the story, so the writers and producers catch heck no matter what happens...

Well, then next week will be the big finale instead of just the season finale! I really enjoyed that show.

Yeah, I'm really disappointed they decided to cancel it. This makes the second time ABC has decided to cancel a show that I really liked.

BOOO ABC! And I don't know about anyone else but I thought last weeks episode was really good and I got so excited for the next one and then Friday it officially got cancelled. GRRRRR
