We have a credit on the credit report that is due to the buyer. On the HUD 1 in section 800 we show the full amount and then the credit portion in the buyer column. Do we need to show this credit on page 1 in the 200 series?

You have the choice to disclose it on 802 as a credit when you issue the GFE or you can leave itoff the GFE and it will be on 802 on the HUD. Or you put it on the HUD as a lender credit on 204-209. We are giving all credits on the HUD. Got burnt a few times already by putting it on the GFE.

We have been showing all credits on the GFE that we know of at the time it is issued, for example we always pay for the credit report and never charge the customer. We also do "partial cost" loans. Which is how we interpreted the F.A.Q.s from HUD. Did you get "burnt" because the amount of the credit changed and could not be reduced at closing? or was it from examiner etc.? Just curious since that is how we have been doing it
