Has anyone had a compliance exam since the new RESPA rules became effective in January? I remember reading a bulletin stating that examiners were to take all of these changes into consideration and to be less strict when the bank was in good faith trying to comply with all of the new regulations.

I no longer have a copy of this bulletin - I think that it was from FDIC. Does anyone know where I can find it?

We had our exam in February, and RESPA was reviewed.

We just had an exam,OTS is our regulator, and they did not give us any breaks even though HUD said they should.

The regulatory agencies are under no obligation to abide by the moratorium HUD said they would observe.

And the OTS did not.

We just had our OTS exam and didn't have any problems.
