Just finished Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Excellent read! Now I have to go get Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter and Sense and Sensibility and Seamonsters (not sure that one is out yet).

They're both out, I've seen them at the library.

Also, in the same vein (so to speak) is Mansfield Park and Mummies: Monster Mayhem, Matrimony, Ancient Curses, True Love, and Other Dire Delights by Jane Austen and Vera Nazarian

I just finished Jane Slayre. I'm a huge fan of the original Jane Eyre, and I really enjoyed the vampire additions smile

Just started reading Under the Dome by Stephen King and so far it's good. Very "Stephen King" and 1072 pages so it will be my "summer reading" wink

FINALLY ABOVE the gnat line
I've stayed away from Stephen King's books - cause recently they haven't been as good as his earlier ones. Is this as good as his ealier books?

I think more along the lines of his earlier stuff - Carrie, The Stand, the Shining, etc....

I'm trying to decide whether or not to bother reading that. Is it worth the $9 at Walmart? Is it better than The Host or Breaking Dawn? It certainly can't be much worse.

OK
I just got my Bree Tanner book in the mail but haven't had a chance to start it yet. Is it as good as the Twilight Series?? I also have The Host by SM too, but it is still on my to read list!

It's an easy read. I started reading it yesterday on the train and my commute is just under 20 minutes. While it's good and reveals some new little twist, I'd go out on a limb and suggest getting it from the library. Unless you really need to complete your personal SM library.

Thanks for the heads up. I may see if I can borrow it from one of the resident Twilight fanatics (FWIW, I no longer count myself among this number. Breaking Dawn ruined the books for me, and that gawd-awful movie just put the nail in the coffin.)

Yeah, I didn't do it on purpose, but after I posted it and read it back I thought, "Huh, a coffin reference in a post about vampire books. Go figure." grin

Summer on Blossom Street - Debbie Macomber- currently reading
Just before finished the lastest sisterhood series- those get better with each read although I cringe more and more at their revenge methods.
Have a ton of Sheryl Woods books - series to read- hopefully enjoy during the summer months.
