I know there was a thread about this a while ago, but the OCC was here last Friday for a different audit and was nice enough to give us a copy for free. Sadly, I wasn't here, so I couldn't ask them if they are going to be selling any on their site.

Their website says it will be available for sale in July.

We got our complimentary copy from the OCC last week as well.

Right SusieLou...I think several drinks makes this easier to understand. Makes you wonder what "they" might be drinking to come up with all these changes. Lol!

I ordered one but they never asked for a shipping address. They did ask for email so hopefully they will inquire; otherwise I have been ripped off by the OCC. (I have placed an inquiry.)

Perhaps they already know where to find you?

We printed ours and took it to Staples and got it spiral about for $3. Guess we saved ourselves $17.

I did think of that!

They emailed me and said there was supposed to be a form for me to fill that info out...well there was not...just a place to give them my money! So they are checking.

I experienced the same issue - no form to complete for the shipping address. The only address request was for the cardholder's address for the VISA billing info. And the email request was weird b/c it was prefilled with the OCC's publication's email address. Definitely not a user-friendly link to order the publication.

The last spiral version (2007) was not the best b/c the spiral didn't stay intact.

I guess the OCC realized there was a problem. They no longer say anything on the publications page of their web site about being able to order a bound copy of the manual.

They are investigating to match my money with the order. The publications mgr was meeting with Finance yesterday!

Oh, come on folks, go green!

Just download the little puppy to your hard drive and retain the capability to do electronic searches. (My lap top carries all 3 versions and whither I go, they go with me.)

If you like to make margin notes (one of the major joys in my life), highlight key passages etc. get Adobe Acrobat Standard and just knock yourself out. If that's too pricey, there is other less expensive software that will enable you to mark up a pdf document.

Although it hurts me to encourage this , here's the response I got from the OCC Publications Office:

This is in response to your inquiries regarding the 2010 FFIEC BSA/AML Examination Manual. There was some problems with the website that we just found out about and so the website was temporary taken down until they have corrected the order form and pay.gov. Hopefully, it will be up and running again by next week or beginning of August. There is a cost for the 2010 FFIEC BSA/AML Examination Manual. The cost is $20.00 per manual. If you go to the website: http://www.occ.treas.gov scroll down the Index to Publications and click. Once the Publications List appears on your screen scroll down to V. Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council Publications. The first publication listed will be the BSA/AML Examination Manual. It will have the order form and instructions how to pay through Pay.gov. next to the title of the publication. When you have complete the process. You should also receive a confirmation.

Also, there are two separate forms on the Publications List. Please make sure that you are using the form that is next to this publication. I received some requests on the incorrect form which can not be process because there is a cost for this publication.
