Just curious how you all conduct your BSA Training? In person to all employees? Email Handouts/Power Point? Online ? We've been doing a combination of in person/online/handouts. Would like to get away from visiting each branch if at all possible. Thanks in advance!

We do in-person and online training - with some e-mails thrown in. Never can have enough BSA training.

We do online training on BSA, OFAC and USA Patriot Act and other subjects. We also do in-person training on various topics once a month. I send out articles of interest out to the branches every now and then. However, we are a two branch bank so it's easy for me to do the in-person training.

I currently use Power Points based on Job Function. (they can be found here on BOL: http://www.bankersonline.com/tools/training/bsa_training_ppt.html)

So I've limited some of my traveling because I make each group meet in one place. However, it is getting a little much and we're now looking at Online Training Programs.

Thanks for the responses. We do an online training program but I want to also incorporate our specific bank policies as well. So I am trying to figure out the easiest way to do that.

Just a warning, our regulator recently told us the annual online training was not enough and that the expectation was to provide face-to-face training to supplement the online training.

I would agree with you rusure. smile I would never fully supplement Online Training. Face to Face is an important piece.

Example: I have law enforcement speak to staff, along with members of our SAR Task Force. The employees & examiners love it.

We use BAI's Learning Manager for online training and also provide external training for BSA training....so far no criticisms.
