My guess is to just distract you before answering the question.

Also guessing the red hammer thing is because red is a primary and basic color and a hammer is a very basic tool, so off the top of your head, you are more likely to pick these two basic/common items. Notice blue is also being picked often in thsi group--also a basic color.
