Jewels is the only one that doesn't look thoroughly disgusted at the fruu fruu setting. wink

FINALLY ABOVE the gnat line
Jewels looks like she is ready to play. Although I would probably rename her "bandit" with her little mask.

Well, the story is...
I went to look at these babies when they were just born. Of course, I couldn't make a decision based on looks. I wanted to see their personality. I was smitten with Jewels though.
I told the lady that if it was meant to be, Jewels would still be there for me. And there she is!!! Still there!!!
I think they are all precious though. I'm going to watch them play and hopefully, will be able to choose. grin

Is this the reason you run your A/C all day long when no one is at home?

Bella or Jewels based on coloring, Def NOT Isabella based on coloring (eew).

I like Jewels the best, then Abby. My two shiz tzus are both a little over a year and a half old, but they are so entertaining. Don't know what we'd do without them. Best of luck with your new little addition.

Not to be a wet blanket but have you taken your older dogs to see the pups? An older established pair might not welcome any addition let alone an over exhuberant puppy. There's lots of info online on the topic. I'm thinking you've probably done your homework already tho.

Personally, I want to get a new kitten but I'm concerned about the 16 year old cat in the house already so I've been researching this in cats.

But thanks for the concern.

Riz, I really was just asking. My own dog was attacked three weeks ago by a trio that lives together and had established a pack mentality. Older dogs are like older people. They get set in their ways and don't like young 'uns bouncing all over the place. Maybe Shizus are better at welcoming a newcomer. And if you've had them around a lot of other dogs all along, it's probably not an issue.

Honestly, they're all adorable. Best of luck chosing just one.

out of the frying pan...
Truff and Riz - regarding new pet additions to an established pet household:

Reactions to new pets are so individualized that there’s no good way to predict the results. For example: Belle (our older dog) was always fine with other dogs, both if she was the visitor or if they came to our house….until we brought Loki home. She hates her – has from moment 1. Loki loves everybody…except Jezabel (one of the neighbor's dogs). We never did figure out why those two hated each other so much - but I have scars on one of my knees from the last time I had to separate them. For the record - I advise against getting between two 50+ lb dogs who really, really dislike each other. My next door neighbor's cat herd has never had problems with new additions being accepted, but Gracie (my cat) attacks the window if she even sees another cat getting close. Dogs, however, are fine and dandy.

I guess all that was to say: you won't know until you get them home and try it for a few days.

Good luck! smile
