Go here for an interactive personal exploration and self-improvement "test" - well not really a test, but an exploration of how you think and deal with stuff. My rating was: Auditory: 50% Visual: 50% Left: 47% Right: 52% Within the summary: "You are one of those individuals who are perfectly "balanced" in both your hemispheric tendencies and your sensory learning preferences." It continued with both good and bad news.

That is really weird, I thought I was right-brained...
"Maria, you are somewhat left-hemisphere dominant with a balanced preference for auditory and visual inputs. Because of your "centrist" tendencies, the distinctions between various types of brain usage are somewhat blurred."
LOL!!! Blurred brain usage... how funny... back to Cleabatsu's.

I was wondering how I got that big lump on the ol' noggin!
I went one way, Dan went the other, I stepped on his toe and managed to knock you off your stool...you were out for quite awhile. Stop by Cleabatsu's and I'm sure Mr. C. can hook you up with some ice.
p.s.--I'd advise against asking me to dance.

Oooh, I liked that. Auditory: 44% Visual: 55% Left: 44% Right: 55% You possess an interesting balance of hemispheric and sensory characteristics, with a slight right-brain dominance and a slight preference for visual processing. Since neither of these is completely centered, you lack the indecision and second-guessing associated with other patterns. You have a distinct preference for creativity and intuition with seemingly sufficient verbal skills to be able to translate in any meaningful way to yourself and others. That's right - in summary - it's ALL ABOUT ME!!

Mr. C, you are mildly left-hemisphere dominant while showing a slight preference for auditory processing. This overall combination seems to indicate a well-working blend of logic and judgment and organization, with sufficient intuition, perception and creativity to balance that dominance. Preferentially you learn by listening and maintaining significant internal dialogues with yourself. Nevertheless, you have sufficient visualization capabilities to benefit from using graphs, charts, doodles, or even body movement to enhance your comprehension and memory. To the extent that you are even implicitly aware of your hemispheric dominance and sensory style, you will feel most comfortable in those arenas which emphasize verbal skills and logic. Teaching, law, and science are those that stand out among the professions, along with technical sales and management So I talk to myself huh??

Auditory : 56% Visual : 43% Left : 31% Right : 68% You prefer the abstract and are a theoretician at heart while retaining the ability to be practical. You find the symbolism in a great deal of what you encounter and are something of a "mystic." Mystic???? That's a good one!!
