Does anyone have a copy of the letter that they send to owners of past due safe deposit boxes prior to drilling the box, inventorying the contents and sending such contents to the state?

Dear «Title» «LastName»:

This will serve as a final notice that your safe deposit box fee of $«amountdue» is due and payable immediately.

If the payment is not received within 30 days of this letter, then, with no further notice to you, the box will be forced opened and the contents disposed of in accordance to RCW 22.28.040. You will be responsible for all expenses incurred in the opening of the box, changing its locks and keys.

Sincerely,

Ours is similar, but instead of "disposed of," we tell them that the items will be catalogued and stored, and dated for Escheatment. (Our state has a 5 year escheatment policy; we use the date of last entry or payment, whichever is more recent.)
