Starting to look like the boots will go down this way:
1) Rupert
2) Jenna
Rob & Amber to F2, with Amber for the win. How disappointing that would be!! Will update later.....
ETA: Yup, that's the way it's looking. However, spoiler boards are split between Amber & Rob for the win. Dangit. This is one time I really hope the boards are WRONG. (OK, mostly because I have a game going and I've got Jenna to win for the prize. )

WOW! I do not even know where to begin! What a show... too many little things to point out! I am excited about the second million. Who do you think will get that? I guess Rupert. He clearly seems to be the people's choice. No way it would be Big Tom, Lex, Jerri, etc...

Is the final hour being rebroadcast this week? My VCR cut off when Jeff was leaving the island with the votes.

I was glad to Amber won, only because my wife had her in the office pool. We are expecting our first child due June 3rd, so it was a nice Mother's Day gift for her.
I thought the finally was really good, but I have to say I am glad that I don't have to look at the smug faces on that jury again. As Chandler Bing would say, "Could they BE more annoying?"
I agree with Big Tom that Boston Rob crossed the line by talking trash about his son. I was glad to see them shake hands at the reunion show. It was nice to Jerri get booed and her leaving just confirms my opinions about her.
One question; are they ever going to stop the cheesy "transportation" of the final votes bit? Between the jet ski from a few seasons ago to Jeff's GQ stance on the helicopter last night; it makes me want to puke.
Can't wait until next season.

Isn't it funny how well everyone "cleans up" after they come back from Survivor? I didn't think Amber was that pretty until I saw her last night. And Rob- he looked completely different!
I am glad Amber won. I am sure that Rupert will be America's choice. Everyone loves him.

Blech, Rob got FAT in between finale and reunion!!
My take - Worst. Finale. Ever. Even worse than Vecepia vs. Neleh. At least both of those players made something of an effort to actually PLAY the game - Amber just let Rob carry her all the way and clearly demonstrated she can't think for herself when she wanted to consult with Rob about who should get the car. Not to mention that she looked completely tacky in that hideous shirt AND demonstrated how self-absorbed she was in all her jury responses and answers to questions. YUCK. VERY disappointed that she won (although congratulations to Pizzazz and Putt for Dough on your office pool wins, at least something good came out of this.)
Agree with the following points - Tom was a big baby at Tribal Council, it's a game people, and Rupert is most likely to win the viewer's choice money. (Although I voted for Tom. I don't think anyone 'deserves' the money other than Rob and in Alicia's words, I'm not writing his name down. Tom's online chat was nice and I will vote for him several more times. The online community seems to be leaning towards giving it to Kathy or Shii Ann at the moment, but we're such a small portion of the viewers that it's not really going to influence the vote, I don't think. So congratulations to Rupert, I guess.)
Putt - the Junebug's birthday is also June 3!! Best wishes on your upcoming addition - hope you enjoy him/her as much as we enjoy the Junebug!

I will admit to watching last night, but now I know why I did not watch Survivor All Stars. Oh my lord, what a bunch of babies. I can't stand any of them (and I liked a bunch of them on their original show). They remind me of spoiled little high school kids who didn't get picked on the cool team so they think the kids on the cool team are cheaters. Rob won the way you have to win that game. None of them would have made it to the final two without alliances or a bit of scheming and backstabbing. And what kills me is as much as I disliked ShiAnn, she was the only one making sense last night, including busting Big Tom (who is an idiot for what he did last night) about his alliance against Rob at one point. Jerri just ruined any progress she had made with her image - what a hypocrite she is. Colby is a dork - etc. I will stop now because I am no longer infatuated with the show, but to me, I always liked the players who realized this was a game of deception and strategy, whcih until last night, included Lex, but after last night, excuse my language, but he gets thrown into weenieland now. I am just bummed they didn't talk to some of the more interesting characters last night - give me Hatch, Rob C, Boston Rob any day.

With this new twist in the show....us being able to vote for our favorite. I wonder if that will influence the game. If the players think that even if they don't get into the final two, they still have a chance if America likes them. So will this make some people "act" all nicey nicey so we will like them? OR is this just a one time deal for the all-stars and won't happen again? I don't know, I just think it could change the whole dynamics of the game!

I went and voted, and that was definitely my favorite moment also - stealing the shoes was the funniest thing ever on the show.

To a degree, the second million dollar prize almost seems tailor-made for Rupert, as if CBS wants to throw him a handout for being such a breakout star. Personally, I could only see awarding it to him, the Robfather, Shii Ann, Jenna L, or Jerri.
Amber did have a strategy: ride along behind Boston Rob and let him draw all the heat. And it worked. However, it was a mutually beneficial arrangement, because she always had his back, and she served to help soften his image instead of leaving him flying solo as a braying jackass. Be that as it may, I predict their relationship won't last more than, say, three years. I have a feeling that she will tire of him. She didn't actually look all that enamored of him at the reunion show.
Quick roundup for the season--
Amazon Rob: Was he even on this show at any point?
Rudy: Liked his insinuation that he would have had to open up a can of whup-ass on one or more people if he had stuck around.
Richard: He blew it by molesting Sue, therefore I think he's a wanker. Although his "it's just a game, Lex, not a Bergmanian chess duel over life and death and good and evil" bit was spot-on.
Shii Ann: I've always liked her for some reason. Glad she got the car, and it was neat to see her cut through the BS at the final TC.
Tina: She cleans up real nice.
Sue: Meh.
Colby: I guess he's okay.
Jenna M.: Cannot stand her.
Jenna L.: Didn't even recognize her at the reunion. I could've done without her "and it's all real" bit, though. Also, evidently she really doesn't know when to stop yakking.
Kathy: Liked her on her season, but she dragged me into her core of hatred this time, which I resent. A little too much with the "oh, how my friend has betrayed me and yet I shall forgive him his iniquities" posturing.
Boston Rob: He rocked at challenges, built a hell of a shelter, made critical alliances, and never was in serious danger despite how open a threat he was and how clearly he was manipulating everyone. He mocked some other contestants in confessionals, but rarely went over the line, and usually his criticsms were pretty valid. I would rather have seen him win.
Amber: Eh, she's not all that. And I thought Jenna L. was cuter.
Ethan: His hair is almost a contestant in its own right.
Rupert: Sometimes overrated his abilities and importance to the tribe because of self-esteem problems, and needed constant positive feedback. A little condescending at times. Good at challenges and not a quitter, and not a plotter and schemer. Mostly a nice guy who never had a chance to win, and I'm surprised he got that far, which partially had to do with a solid alliance with Jenna L.
Jerri: Liked her a lot. People haven't given her a chance to be perceived as anything other than an arch-villainess. She was quite mellow this time out. The audience at the reunion show was a bunch of camera-mugging prats. Heck, I agreed with her speech.
Big Tom: What a miserable jerk. Get over it. You planned on being third and instead finished fifth? It's a flippin' game--if you wanted to finish higher, you had to take your fate in your own hands and make your move instead of sitting around passively. I hated you after your "Sue is dead" celebratory dance, and then I hated you more during your final TC speech, and then I hated you to the max with your stupid "psych!" handshake fakeout. In short, shut up, Big Tom. Also, shut up.
Alicia: Now I see why people find her so unpleasant. It could be because she's...unpleasant. Rude, abrasive, angry, and filled with aggrieved self-righteousness. What-freakin'-ever. Shut up, Alicia. And when you're done shutting up, shut up some more.
Lex: Damn, I'm embarrassed that he's from my hometown. So, it's nothing personal, only a game when he cuts down Ethan and Colby and when he sacrifices Jerri to save Amber. But when the Robfather eliminates him, it's the violation of a sacred bond of friendship? Dude--the major reason you kept Amber was that you feared Boston Rob's awful wrath. But if you had kicked her to the curb, you would've crippled him. Idiot. Grow the hell up. Also, please join Big Tom and Alicia in shutting up.
At any rate...heh. I thought Probst's flying in on the copter was pretty cool. I can tell you that if I had the chance to do that, I'd seize it. Even if it is a pretty cheesy stunt. Also, when he jet-skiied in that one time, I actually got all weepy when he paused in front of Lady Liberty. I'm glad that he hosts these reunions instead of that awful Rosie O'Donnell. He showed a lot of compassion where it was due, I thought.
