Where the heart is
I saw this article - and, um...., wow!
Dog saves Michigan owners life

My favorite part:

Quote:

According to the local newspaper, Douthett said he has since given up alcohol. He has also changed his sleeping habits.

"I wear shoes to bed now," he said.

Dogs have an uncanny sense about disease/infection...it's like there are some dogs out there that are being tested to see how they seem to know when someone has cancer and the like, or are fixing to have a seizure. Animals never cease to amaze me...I think their senses are just so much sharper than ours because they don't have the ability to speak, which only causes everything else to be weaker, IOW, creates way too much "white noise".

So Cal
Apparently the guy didn't want to go to the doctor for his infected toe because he didn't want to foot the bill.
