Jeremy, I don't know if even the devil herself can save you from the wrath of snubbed baseball fans! But I will buy you a drink to salve those wounds you will be getting from the peanut shells.
Maybe you should wear your motorcycle helmet while you are running the bases???

I don't think the helmet will save me from the damage the peanut shells will cause, thanks though. Also, even if you buy me a drink, I'm thinking that Mr. Clean (who posted his baseball loving post at the exact same time as my baseball snubbing post) will not give it to me until I pay up.

Ahhhh, a fan club. See what you guys started (Mr.C and Dave)! Let me think about this while I catch a couple more bad guys and have lunch. I'll be back later with my decision. I might just turn into a DP drinker again

All over the map.
Jeremy-If you hadn't used the line "Imagine what would happen if I dogged a real sport!!" I might have been able to intercede; but, my in deference to my friend Dave, I have to stay out of this one! Sorry buddy, I watched my first ever televised baseball game because of him, and really enjoyed it. Now I do agree with you when it comes to softball, although I like fast-pitch. T-girl plays, and we have been the the Womens College World Series in OKC many times!(watching of course, but someday......) I love it. I'm with Maria. I'll buy you a drink and help you bandage your wounds, but only Mr. C. and Dave can forgive the rest.

All of this for BASEBALL? Wow. Imagine what would happen if I dogged a real sport!! Have you seen the Nascar commercial about how "tough" baseball is? I don't like Nascar either, if that helps or hurts my cause.

Dave--That's pretty harsh...peanut shells? And to think, I'm a head-first slider. Now slow pitch softball....THERE'S A GAME. My church softball team won the state tournament last year!! Am I absolved? I did watch a couple innings of the Cubs game 7 (and cried). Not because I like the Cubs, but because I really wanted a change this season and the Cubs v. the Red Sox would have been really cool, from an historical standpoint.

Elena, Maria, come to my rescue here!!

Jeremy, they were playing baseball before cars were invented. As far as Nascar is concerned except for road courses, turning left for a living is not living. Now, facing down a 90+mph fastball with nothing but a stick of wood in your hand -- that's living.

Wazzzzuppp! Looks like I haven't missed Jeremy's base running routine yet. I'm here to support Cub Dave and get a chuckle (or two). You just can't dis America's sport and get away with it!

BTW Mackinzie...Jeremy strikes me as the Comando type! Can someone please fix me a Godiva...I'm a little chilled from this 60 degree weather!

(struts in, donning his whitey-tighties (dress slacks offer no support, you know) surveying the bevy of lovely ladies awaiting his routine. Notices the peanut shells' razor sharp edges reflecting the light from the disco ball overhead and the bright white pillows set around the dance floor to be used as bases. With Elena belting out "If I go crazy, then will you still call me Superman?" and a crowd of people chanting, nay, calling out his name, he sheds the FTL's and darts around the bases, Pete Roseing (is that a word?) each one of them. Dusting off the peanut shells, he looks for Elena to administer the bandages.)

Gaston (Mr. C) please pour yourself a shot of jager and pass the bottle!!

I think the better song selection is "Living risky, never scared, wander closer to the edge........" even though you are faster than a speeding cue-ball headed for the pocket, and able to leap tall bar-stools in a single bound!

Man...someone forgot to move the bases back after the T-ball game! Mr. C, I believe he has to re-run once they are moved from 40 ft. to 90 ft.... wouldn't you say???
