In the past our bank has given customers the FDIC brochure titled "Insuring Your Deposits" (rather than the one titled "Your Insured Deposits."

Does anyone happen to know whether this brochure is still provided at all by the FDIC? I've been reviewing the FDIC web site, intending to order it, but can't determine if it is in the process of being updated or has been discontinued entirely or replaced by some other product.

Not sure with the FDIC. Received the stickers with the up-dated insurance notice for tellers stations, but have not received the desk top for CSR's. Anyone have the new desk top notice with the $250k wording.

O.K. I have an answer for us. I called the FDIC and asked whether they still publish the brochure called "Insuring Your Deposits."

The nice representative said "Yes, it's called 'Your Insured Deposits."

In the past they were two different brochures, but apparently "Insuring Your Deposits" has quietly disappeared.

I recently ordered and received both "Your Insured Deposits" and a smaller brochure entitled "Deposit Insurance Summary". Both have been updated for the permanent $250,000 limit. The latter is a tri-fold brochure as opposed to the 21-page booklet.

Received an e-mail reply from FDIC that the desk top notices will be available by apx 10-1-10

Not yet. It's in back order. We did receive the teller station stickers that say: Each depositor insured to at lest $250,000
