We have an official Bank check that is for $15,000 that has gone past the 5 year mark and now must be submitted to the state as unclaimed property. We also have some official checks that we cannot read the names on for various amounts. How do we send these checks in? Can they get lumped in with the Unclaimed Money Orders. I am trying to find guidance with the WI treasury website and Naupa but haven't gotten any answers.

In MI they are supposed to be escheated to the payee. If I don't have that info I send them in under the purchasers name. If you don't have that info I am not sure what to do.
