(I just changed from St. Louis to Carolina, I'll probably regret it, but I gotta go with my gut!)
Dave, that makes us different on 2 picks this round! Double or nothing? (or better yet, you stop smoking with me if I win, that way we'll both win! ) For the big $$$$(really the ceasation of smoking on your part, or the schleping drinks to you in your chair for my part), who do you pick to win the Super Bowl?

What, no one thinks KC can resist the terrible onslaught of Manning and Harrison? C'mon, their problems have been against the run, not the pass. I'll go on record for KC _and_ StL in this round. And NE and Philly. All home teams.

Well, I think I was 2-2 in my picks last week. Here are my picks:

St. Louis- St. Louis is NOT Dallas. Carolina was very balanced last week, but St. Louis can throw the ball. Carolina doesn't have the firepower to catch up if St. Louis goes ahead by 10 or more.

Green Bay- I think this may be the best game. The weather shouldn't bother either team, and you have one great QB, one good QB, and two great backfields.

New England- I am not entirely sure on this pick, but New England is red hot, and both McNair and George are banged up. I like Tennessee, but I think this is where the injuries finally catch up with them.

Indianapolis- Just think, there's ANOTHER Manning that's going to be playing on Sundays! What a dominant performance by Peyton. This should be a high scoring game, but the key will be the defenses.

Carolina---not sold on St. Louis's defense
Philly---I think it will ring midnight for the Packers even though I want them to win.
NE---the titans are too banged up and being in the frozen north.
Colts---KC's defense isn't that good. If Peyton and the boys are on, it will be like yesterday. Remember 1995? The Colts went into KC and beat them.

If you are referring to "that idiot kicker", I think Vanderjagt has been a pretty darn good kicker everywhere. I wonder if Vanderjagt is going to take credit for firing up the team if the Colts win the Super Bowl. I mean, last year, they got torched by the Jets, he makes those comments, and they whip the Broncos!

You don't make 41 straight just by kicking in a dome!!! he had to make some outside, too. Vanderjagt is one of the best.....this coming from a Broncos' fan.

My portrayal of the kicker as a wuss is no more incorrect than the implication that a football game from eight years ago has a bearing on this weekend's matchup.

Joker, you're losing credibility.....easy. Personally, I think Sebastian Janikowski could whoop me. I don't think I'd call him a wuss. Now, Billy Cundiff? He looks like a little kid...I might be able to handle him.

Good lord, I can't call football team wussy for playing in a dome? You'd think I'd asked for sensitive IT information related to central banking in European countries!

For the record, he's a good kicker. And Morten Andersen (a former domer, too) has had a fine career as well.

Good luck and may all your favorites win. Unless, of course, you wear cheese on your head. Steak and cheese is okay. Go Eagles!
