We have been contacted by what can essentially be called a debt elimination company requesting documents on behalf of a borrower. It does appear that our borrower signed a document authorizing us to release the documents to them. Are we under any obligation to do so?

Wasn't there something released by one of the regulators to not do it for debt elimination companies? Might have been the OCC.
