What is with celebrities?!?! They are always pulling some sort of publicity stunt to try and further their careers. The latest one......Britney Spears' marriage over the weekend to some childhood friend from Louisiana. And, the annulment that is supposed to happen today.

I couldn't agree more!! That whole Madonna kiss thing she did sure raised a lot of eyebrows, but apparantly not enough to spring her back into the "Pop Princess" status she's been used to.

I don't think she's had it in quite some time, if ever. My big T-girl took my little T-girl to her concert 2 years ago, and they couldn't believe that she lip-syncd(sp) almost the entire concert. Last July, the 2 T's went to see Justin Timberlake & Christina A. and said it was an awesome concert. Much better singing, dancing and just a fun show to go to.

Britney came here a couple of years ago. All her lights and special effects blew the power at the arena. Elton John, Cher, The Eagles and Don Henley had each staged their elaborate shows with the same power system with no problems.
Britney had the power needed to go ahead and perform the concert - just without the lights, smoke and synthesizers - she would have had to really sing. She reportedly left the stage in a huff, and refused to come back out and refused to reschedule the concert.
There were lots of broken-hearted little girls and mad parents there. I didn't have much of an opinion about her before that - but I definitely have one now!

You know, I heard that the reason the marriage will be anulled is becuase Britney thinks Maddona was a better kisser than Jason Alexandra!
