Can a subsequent SAR be filed in less than 90 days if new activity warrants, or should it wait until the 90 day mark?

If it's the same suspicious activity type, I would wait until the 90 day mark. More activity could occur between now and the 90 day mark that you might wish you would have included. Plus, then your next 90 day review will come sooner. I can't think of a reason why you would want to file early.

If it's a different/new suspicious activity type, you can and should file right away.

You should also file sooner if you think there is an imminent threat of some sort.

If you feel it imperative to file a SAR because you feel there is some type of imminent threat, I would file concurrently with a call to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
