I know this sounds weird - but he is my son's dad. He had a tumor removed from his bladder today and it was much bigger than expected - took up about 20% of his bladder. Hopefully everything will be fine, but there is a possibility that they may have to remove his bladder. Don't like the man particularly, but don't want anything bad to happen to him.

Prayers coming your way. Stay strong for your son.
Been there, done that a few months ago with my ex----he passed away. It was so hard for me and my son's stepdad (who raised him) see him go through such a difficult time for someone who was not in his life.

Thanks - and keep the prayers coming. He goes back to the doctor on Tuesday and my son told me the doctor said it may have spread. My son was going to New Orleans on Sunday for a mission trip - to help build homes. He's cancelling and staying with his dad.

The news could have been better, but it could have been MUCH worse. Apparently they removed about 25% of his bladder. The cancer is an aggressive form, but hasn't gotten into his muscle wall. They will perform this procedure again in 2 months to see what's going on. If it's gotten worse they will remove his bladder.
Thanks for the prayers everybody. They do help tremendously.
