Pulling people out of the ditc...
Loralie - I was affended by DD as well, suggesting that you eat a Burger King anything. Everyone knows if you're going to convert a vegan, you need to go with some high quality burgers, preferably homemade on the grill, and cooked to a heavenly well-done perfection. In fact, I'll be grilling up some this evening (if it quits raining) if you'd like to come by and try one...

FINALLY ABOVE the gnat line
www.vegetariantimes.com is a great website for vegan recipes. I love finding new ways to cook vegetables. KW and I have found many new favs on this site. We do eat our vegies as a side dish to meat.

I am a vegetarian..one of the 'nothing with a face' kind smile However I am the only one in my family that is a vegetarian so I really don't expect anyone to make any 'special' food for me! I just don't eat the turkey....I do live in the south so I have to look out for drippin's and bacon and ham bones in my veggies!!! At family dinners I tend to bring a dish that I know I can eat! I think you are a very special MIL indeed to want to cook for your DIL! I am sure she will appreciate anything you put on the table!!!
