I have a customer, a CPA, who wants to hold money and sign on behalf of several of her clients (separately, in separate accounts). There is no POA, if we were to open an escrow account for her, under her client's social security number, what kind of documentation would be required to allow her to legally do that? Would a notarized agreement be acceptable?

We have them provide a signed w-9 form from the client, and the attorney signs the signature cards and resolution.

How about a copy of the escrow agreement establishing the CPA's legal authority?
