Happy I think you took me wrong in what I was trying to get across. I didn't say Tebow wasn't a good guy, I just got tired of they way ESPN hyped him up. Dez on the other hand was in trouble in college. Justin Blackmon is supposedly a good kid, but looked up to Dez and got caught up in the whole thing and got caught.

There are some really awesome kids who are athletes that we never hear about. But we always hear about the ones that get into trouble. And yes kids who aren't athletes get into the same trouble and no one ever hears about it. But they athletes are the ones our children look up to as role models. They have to make an extra effort to be fine upstanding citizens. Fair? Maybe...maybe not, but if you choose to be in the limelight such as a college athlete they you have to know there are certain standards and rules you should abide by.

Fraud Pup, I agree about Orton. I have really liked him since he was in Chicago. When Denver sent Cutler to Chicago and wound up with Orton I thought Denver got the better player.

What's funny is that Orton would be a MUCH better fit in Chicago with Martz's offense than Cutler is.

I'm sure Chicago would use a "take-back" if they had one.

WOW!! They looked awful last night. They need a major change if they ever want to be good again.

And as a Steeler fan, it kills me to hear discussion of Cowher possibly coaching there.

Well, if the Texas Longhorns don't make it to a bowl game maybe Jerry can schedule a game with them in Jerry's House! Might be a good game!

Jerry Jones looked like a beaten man in his post game interview. Wade Phillips stood on the sideline during the game with an Alfred E Neuman "What, me worry" look the entire game. Couldn't happen to a nice group of egotistical buffoons. You know that ESPN and NBC are something pissed about the number of primetime games the NFL gave the Cowboys, advertising for those games must be running about $12.00 per minute.

I don't know, I kind of enjoy watching them take the hits, kind of like watching this years election results on all the "real" news stations this year.

How about the Cincy Bungles getting the beatdown from the Pukesburgh Squealers?

Actually not much of a beatdown, Cincy shot themselves in the foot the first half.

They almost pulled off the comeback tho. I thought the Steelers were gonna lose that one. Once again the defense saved them.

And Chad Ochocinco and T.O. need to stop flapping their gums.

I really like T.O. He wasn't running his mouth yesterday, it was Chad! Even the commentators picked up on it and said that T.O. seemed to be the voice of reason now. LOL

I guess you are right. Chad was even jawing at his own quarterback. Its just that I am not too crazy about either one of them.

You're close, but off a little bit. Cincy shot themselves in the foot when they refused to hire a general manager, refused to draft offensive linemen, and allow their players to be more interested in being on TV than playing the game. It's not just TO and Ocho, Dhani Jones is wasting time doing TV shows during the season too!
