Perhaps you are referring to the Consumer Credit Protection Act. It's Chapter 41 of Title 15 of the United States Code.

It includes the following subchapters:

Ah, the well spring legislation that created the concepts of "consumer protection" in banking and the loins from which the careers of all those assembled came.
