Is there a reason or regulation that requires banks to have the wording "Address Service Requested" on all envelopes for everything we mail out to customers; statements, correspondence, 1099s, etc.? Thanks for any help.

Only if you want the PO to send you forwarding addresses. I beleive you pay for that service.
