We have a question on the dollar limit to these as we have an internal spec issue. A cash in for $3000 exactly to purchase a cashiers check. Should this be reported or not until the cash in is at least $3000.01?

Thanks,

The monetary instrument log is for purchases of $3,000-$10,000, inclusive. You should include it on the log.

I believe the record keeping requirement applies to purchases between $3000 and $10000 inclusive.
