Here today not Friday or next week. (Deer Season) hey DD...did you see the story of the young lady that bagged 3 in under an hour? Was she your daughter? Not hardly. The only way my daughter would kill a deer is by talking it to death.

The only way my daughter would kill a deer is by talking it to death. Mine too Hubby would love to take her deer hunting, but realized he enjoyed the quiet of the forest too much. I have to tell this story about one of our lenders and hunting last year with this little daughter. They are in a tree stand. All the snacks are all gone my now. She's sitting on the floor behind him and she's already ate everything and it was still morning! He sees some deer coming their way. She says "Dad, I have to potty". He says just gimme a sec. She says I gotta go now dad and he says just a minute and turn around and puts the ear phones on her for hearing protection. He turns around and is sighting on the deer and she yells: CAN YOU HEAR ME? Needless to say - she cleared out the forest with that one. We have quite a few hunters stay with us during the season. I had one wife ask me if I hunted. I told her No, I don't hunt, but I like to go with him and sit in the tree and when he kills something I like to run out there a gut it. Had to tell her it was a joke! My hubby knows to face the cavity away from me when I have to go out there and admire a kill.

There's only 4 of us in the building today. I just finished reworking my recipe notebook and am skimming thorugh a book I've already read. My boss is reading BDB, and I have no idea what the other two are up to. Probably shopping.

Anybody want a puppy? My husband just got to the farm (hunting) and found two little fuzzballs waiting for him. Both girls, maybe 6" tall, wiry brown hair, he's guessing them to be 6-8 weeks old. There's no way my old dog will tolerate a puppy in the house at this point, so they've GOT to find other homes ASAP!

Any luck on the puppies? That happened to me and my dad one year. Two little fuzzballs just started following us while were quail hunting and stuck right with us. We couldnt just leave them so along they came. found homes for them by the end of the weekend. They were cute as h3ll and loved people!

Here and extremely bored. The parking lot is empty. I think there are like 12 people here today. LOL It's just me and the big boss's admin assistant - we're both saving our days for Christmas. She's super nice though, so we've spent most of our boring morning talking and we're about to go out to lunch.
Also, I took a 30 minute break earlier and went to Target across the street and bought a few things. It was surprisingly quick. I got a great parking spot and didn't wait in line to pay. They were busy but I was in and out!

Another one here today in a very quiet building - all back-office departments where customers never come.

Here, writing up audit report today, good day to finish paperwork. No bosses to bother me. Some online shopping. Frankly, I rather be here than at SIL's; she would rather that I was here too -- so 2 people are happy.

I'm here at work both today and tomorrow. It's extremely quiet, and I'm getting tons of paperwork done, hooray! It would appear from the looks of the internet usage report that all of my coworkers are doing a whole lot of surfing/online shopping and very little working.
