BF, I pack away all my Christmas music and movies each year at the end of the season. I just now opened up that box, so for the next month, it's all (movies and music) like treasured memories taken down from the attic, reviewed for a brief moment each year, and then packed away until the next year. Exactly how it should be! I don't know why radio around here started playing Christmas music two weeks before Thanksgiving this year.

My station is currently 1 song an hour, and that's fine for me. The closer we get to Christmas the more they will play.

My husband and I got out our Christmas movies (13 of them - and I've ordered 4 more). We plan on watching all of them between now and Christmas.
Listened to XM radio's old time Christmas station on the way home from Georgia on Saturday. Great songs, but I'm Christmas songed out now.

I love Christmas music......but I do detest how some of my favorite radio stations play it for an entire month and 1/2 before Christmas. Soooooo not necessary.....kinda takes the novelty out of it for me.

<----- voted for Beatles.
Two jobs ago, we had Christmas Muzak from Thanksgiving until year-end, and I think they only had about 20 songs. I'd hear the same ones over and over, including a horrible version of "Snow" from White Christmas that made me want to rip the speakers out of the ceiling.
We'll play it while decorate the house Saturday, though.

<----- has Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You" on replay.
It's like she's singing it right to me!

So that I may be a more educated voter, could someone explain for me the difference between:
I avoid it like the plague Christmas music is the scourge of mankind and should be banned from all airwaves I'd rahter have to clean DQs hairbrush than listen to Christmas music
I'd prefer to just listen to BYT beatles selections...
Thanks!

^^^^ whiner... AM NOT!! I'm just sayin'... I tend to avoid plagues. If there is something I consider to be the scourge of mankind, I tend to avoid that as well. If there is one thing that I would tend to avoid more than I would a plague or the scourge of mankind, it would be cleaning DQ's hairbrush. If there was one thing that I would tend to avoid more than a plague, a scourge, or cleaning DQ's hairbrush, it would be listening to BYTBMFs. Ah, I think I've answered my own question - it's all a matter of degrees...
