Is there a requirement on the bank's part to remove a customer from receiving their statements by e-mail if they have not opened their e-statements for 6 months to a year. The customer is receiving the e-statments OK they are just not taking the time to open them up. They are using the on-line banking product we have to balance their account. Thanks.

The same rule applies as if they were getting paper. You've no idea though if they'd open those, shred them or put them in a shoe box. You've "delivered" them.
