Somewhere some time ago I came across information which indicated required security for the wire room and it referenced that the wire room had to be in a separate room with a limited access and a window. Or something. Maybe I dreamed it. Does anyone know where I could find this and if it is still applicable?

Perhaps this is what you're remembering?

It's from the FFIEC IT Exam Handbook: Operations

(under security)

Thanks but that's not it. What I'm thinking of specifically addresses the wire room. I'll continue digging but thanks for trying!! smile

How old is that? Two printers one for incoming and one for outgoing, and unbroken list.... Ummm...that's dot matrix paper with the perforated edges. Fedline is a lot different now that it used to be.

We would be ripped to shreds if our policy book had that kind of information in it, but that's what they use to examine us?

Um, the page isn't dated, but this is what's out on their website even today.

I know, right?
