We are planning on putting the new NOTICE OF CHANGES IN TEMPROARY FDIC COVERAGE FOR TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS notice on the check writing desk in our lobby offices on 12/31/10. Do we need to also include the FDIC Logo on these notices too since this is a type of advertisement? These will be on an 8X10 inch poster and there is little room to spare.
Also, will we need the logo on our website when we put it out there as it is already on our home page?

It is not an advertisement; it is a disclosure. It would not be inappropriate to include the FDIC logo or "Member FDIC" since the notice is about FDIC insurance. But it most certainly does not have to be included.

Ditto on the page with the notice on your website.

Thanks for the information. Our supplier who provided our inserts for our statement mailings to our NOW and IOLTA accounts had included it and I wasn't sure if it was a requirement. We problaby won't include it in our website or lobby displays.
Thanks again.
