As I'd hinted earlier, there are very few reasons why someone in the game isn't eligible to receive votes. I'm not sure why he wasn't out-and-out disqualified, but from what I'd heard, Sash wasn't allowed to receive any votes because he allegedly offered to split his winnings with another player. I have not seen any clarification if it was a legitimate offer or made in jest.

Either way, when the producers heard it, it was enough for them to take action.

To qualify further, my source believes that Sash was going to pay someone to work the jury to send votes his way. From what I've been able to piece together, because it wasn't conclusive, he wasn't disqualified, but it must have been enough for the jury to send him no votes.

That's what I heard too. And I heard it was an offer to Kelly Purple and that Jane was involved in the producers finding out. I haven't seen any confirmation on that though, and it may not be at all correct.

I read that rumor, and saw another interesting one as well.

I'd heard that he offered to pay off Jane's mortgage, and that Jane called him out on it at Tribal. It wasn't caught on camera or mic. When that happened, they stopped taping. Jeff consulted with the other producers. Since there was no proof, they let the jury determine the facts for themselves.

I still am reeling a bit over how Probst tried to manipulate votes during the TC.

Ooooh, that mortgage one is interesting. And actually may fit better with the attitude of some of the other players in re: Jane.

I know. That was a spectactularly blatant bit of attempted manipulation.

Yes, but even after schooling the other three how to try to stay in the game, they still managed to ignore everything Jeff suggested, which could have kept them in the game that much longer.

Given those who are left, I'm very happy with who wins. I hope we get a hint of just how smart Jud is during the reunion hour. I suspect he's smarter that he let on, but perhaps not as smart as he thinks - time may tell.

Anyone ever find out any details on Sash and the rumor/information about Jeff telling the jury not to vote for him? I noticed that he didn't get one vote. smile

They really didn't like him, some sounded almost bitter. I was watching the football game, so they never said whether no one could vote for him?

I watched it only because of that. There was nothing at all about Sash.

I never heard them say that no one could vote for Sash but I was multitasking. Someone must have the scoop. Do we know who voted for Fabio?

Jane actually looked worse cleaned up than she did as a competitor.

It seemed as though Brenda might have been the tie breaker.

Dan was just a jerk. And what was with that drama between Jeff and Sash and that guy sitting in the back.

At least from now on, if you quit, you most likely won't be on the jury.

Redemption Island will be interesting. I hope the challenges will be equalized.

Redemption Island sounds interesting.

I do give kudos to Jane for learning how to make a fire before going on the show. So many people show up clueless.

My mistake. She sure seemed unsure of her decision, or was just going for the drama.

You missed the early episode where Shannon asked Sash if he was gay?

Chase got votes from Jane, Holly, Brenda and Alina. Everyone else voted for Fabio.

Sash got no votes, most likely due to the controversy that ensued during the final TC (details posted earlier within this thread).

Did anyone else think "Fabio" looked like a small child with his hair cut like it was?
