Customer's flood determination was changed from a "V" to "AE". Do I need to send a 45 day letter?

Maybe first check with the insurance company. I want to think V-rated is higher risk than A...so it may actually be more than they now need...but could opt to keep what they have possibly

That is a good idea. However I am just wondering if we are required to send a letter to the customer to let them know and if this letter would be an informational only type letter or if it must be a 45 day notice to have it switched. My idea is that we want the insurance to match the zone. However, if the zone that they are in is currently more conservative to have coverage for than the zone that has been determined, do I really even need to bother?
