out of the frying pan...
^^ better deal than we have, I think. Verizon, 2 phones (nothing smart about them), 1400 shared minutes + unlimited text & mobile-to-mobile. ~ $160.mo.

I have 4 phones on our plan- husband, sister, daughter and me-2 have the lowest data packages, unlimited texting, 1400 minutes which we use so little of, free weekends and after 9 at night I think- $161.44-

Pisses me off- argued with Verizon- if you don't use the data packages why are you charging us? These should be an option and not a charge to people who buy a phone and do not want the data package- thank you very much but my phone is a phone to call and text on- I don't need it for internet or mail and don't want to be billed for those stupid data packages- and the phones without the data packages are stupid phones- we basically have the LG flip phone and don't remember what my daughter has but she is eyeing one of those data package phones and I told her if you get one of them you are paying me 40 bucks a month- she doesn't pay anything right now- my sister pays me 40 bucks a month for her phone but just started when we got the darn data charging phones.

AT&T on both personal and business phones....

Family plan of 4 includes international calls and runs between $200 and $300 a month...

The business plan for one smart phone is $70 month.

I detest AT&T, they have allowed both plans to be slammed time and time again with phony charges for news or ringtones.

Any where but work
Verizon; 3 phones; two are plain jane no texting plan; one is internet unlimited texting blah blah blah. Nationwide freedom, mobile-to-mobile, 10 friends and family, 700 minutes. $145-$148 a month, depending on daughters downloads. I think this is expensive, can't wait till daughter graduates (6+ more years) and she is off our plan.

Pale, you travel international? Are you making regular trips to Mexico? Maybe we should put you on the watch list!!!! shocked

We have ATT and never been slammed (knock wood). 3 phones, data packages, share minutes, 2 crackberrys and an iphone for son #2 - he pays us $40/mo for his service. I think our bill is about $160/mo; but really don't know because DH pays it. I paid the first 20+ years, now it's his turn to pay this bill. grin

I hate that we pay $180 for 3 phones (ATT family plan 700 shared minutes and unlimited text)but hubby and I love our iPhones (and 11 yr old step-son has regular phone with data disabled). A lot of our family and friends are on ATT so we always have rollover minutes at the end of each month.

We pay $120/month (Sprint) for two droids, unlimited everything except shared anytime minutes (1500/mo). Unlimited everything means data, web, messaging, mobile-to-mobile, and night/weekends. I think it's worth it for how much we use our phones (constantly). I think they are slowly replacing our laptop.

On my son's plan (he pays for my phone since I pretty much pay for everything else. Have a LG 950GT Arena which is just OK. Really want an Iphone. We are on AT&T and have never had a service issue. Son's ex-girlfrield subscribed to about $100/month worth of internet subscriptions. Called AT&T and they removed all the charges (going back 3 months to when they started). I've been able to call and change rate plans to avoid overage charges (they have been very helpful). Right now he has 3 phones on his plan with unlimited text for all. I have the $10/month data plan on my phone and his bill is about $130-140 a month.

have att

used to have 4 phones, husband, sister, daughter, and me. Husband had unlimited data, all had unlimited txt, plus things like insurance for me and sis. our bill was $175, but we had a small discount cause of hubbys job.

now divorced, we split the bill (a Pain in the arse BTW) so i pay for sister and me, he pays him and daughter. So now with 2 phones, unlimited texting and ins its 110, but sis pays me $30 since her 5000+ texts a month are why we had to get the unlimited text in the first place.

Big Brother knows and that's a...
I love the DROID! Love it! Had one slight problem since I got it this summer, randomly decided last week to delete all my text messages, including locked messages. When doing a search it appears a lot of DROID users have had this issue and there is no known cause or fix to the best of my knowledge. That is the ONLY problem I have had thus far though. It is fast, and Android has a lot of great apps. I wasn't sure about the touch screen, but this thing is pretty accurate. I had a BB Storm and hated it. It was a horrible touch screen.

I have two lines on my account and one data plan (for my phone). My bill is generally running around $130 a month. I have 700 anytime minutes and unlimited texting, pictures, email and internet usage.

Way, way south.
After seeing the amounts of everyone's bills, I believe I am in the wrong field; cellular service appears to be where all the money is!

While I was waiting for my Kindle to charge last night I downloaded Angry Birds on my Droid. I'm now seriously addicted to that game but I am stuck on level 15!!!
