Anyone know of some kind of relief for a raging sinus headache? I've got a bit of a cold thing going on and I don't know that my head has ever hurt this bad from my sinuses! Ibuprofen hasn't worked and I just need some relief!

Try the behind-the-counter Sudafed to relieve the pressure.

ask the Pharmacist for what they would recommend. Tell them what you have taken already.

(But for me, what Dip said plus excederin)

stand on your head...I don't know how, but it relieves the pressure. My Granny told me this when I was 6, and I've used it ever since...it really does work. For every minutes you stand on your head, you have about 1 hour of relief from sinus pressure.

(if you are wearing a skirt or dress at work, you may want to wait until you get home to try this)

Whatever sinus product works best for you (I like sudafed), saline nasal spray (or full-blown irrigation with warm saline water if necessary) and you may find relief from hot compresses to your head. I used them alot when I was pregnant many years ago and couldn't take medicine.

Excedrine Sinus

Or one of those nice pain killers left over from my nasal surgery last spring.

A good friend of mine from India taught me to drink "hot pepper tea" for sinus relief. Hot pepper tea means adding a dash or more of black pepper to hot tea. I add the "or more" and it really works.

coming on the end of a cold you may have a sinus infection, which usually requires antibiotics for relief....
