We, as fans, can't ask any more from that team. They have been amazing the last 6 years. Loved Tomlin last night. I think that was the most animated I have seen him since he's there.

Tomlin is a CLASS ACT. Rex Ryan on the other hand, CLASSLESS, throwing down his cap and head phones like a big baby having a hissy fit!

Tomlin is a class act, but I saw a couple cheap shots, including a helmet to the chin of Shonn Greene by Farrior, that were not called that ticked me off. I remembered yesterday why I've never liked the Steelers. Great organization, great coach, but consistently class-less players, on the field and off.

Go Pack!!

I'd take either Rex Ryan or Mike Tomlin as my coach in Denver, for sure. You can't beat the passion that Ryan has and shows for the game and Tomlin is just a fantastic coach.

Love Tomlin.Rex has passion, but he is definitely what I would call a class act.

Farrior is definitely gonna pay for that hit. Steelers are rough and tumble. I never saw them dirty. Titans are dirty, just as the Raiders seem to be. I see Steelers as playing hard football as it was meant to be. When yhou are on that field with so much adrenalin and the momentum takes you, I am sure it's hard to stop in the middle of a tackle. With all of the extremely talented skirt wearing QBs, the rules are changing. It's kinda hard change someone's FB mentality in the middle of his career. Steelers are tough not dirty!

I love Tomlin for letting Ben throw for first downs on the last drive, Awesome!!

As for the Farrior hit on Greene, they do not call helmet to helmet hits against runners. It is impossible for two guys coming at each other to gage where their heads are going to end up. It's not a penalty, and especially not a cheap shot, and there won't be a fine. They only call the head-to-head hits against QBs looking downfield, or recievers with their heads turned.

I've never had a problem with Farrior. My only problem is with the inconsistencies all season long with what is called and what is not. If anything, they've called too many hits.

Farrior's hit on Greene was illegal and is called, whether it is a hit on a QB, RB, or cheerleader. He led with his helmet and was going horizontal. At first I thought Greene was whining. When I saw the replay, his whining was justified. Kudos to Greene for not letting it bother him too much. He'll be a good back.

Thank you to the Steelers for getting rid of that a-hole Ryan and his band of d-bags...i wouldn't have been able to turn on the tv without having to listen to how Ryan "predicted" their Superbowl trip if they had won...

Does anybody else think Mike Tomlin and Omar Epps from House look alike?

ah...Peepers is jumping back and forth over the bar fence, as it were.

Hey, Peeps, you going to ever really say who you're backing or just antagonize until the 6th when the Pack smashes the steelers and then jump on the home team band wagon? wink

It looks to me, Truffle, as if Peepers is going Black and Gold for Oh-eleven Superbowl. Just review the poles polls one more time. wink

Having watched James Harrison all year, I have a pretty good idea of what is and isn't a penalty. A helmet to helmet hit on a runner or receiver heading up field isn't a penalty, only when they are 'defense-less', ie. looking back at the QB. I actually thought Green was the one taunting Farrior, as in he felt that he ran over Farrior. It just shows how perception works.

I usually respect your posts, I'll let this one slide. smile
