Mary Beth was doing some research on recent regulation amendments to prep for one of her many presentations, and she had one of those "if only" moments that leads to change. "If only," she told us, "we had a concise list of recent amendments and proposals on the 'table of contents' pages of the regulations in our Alphabet Soup section, research could be so much easier!"
We played with the idea, and we like our first results. Take a look at our tables of contents for
Regulation E and
Regulation Z to see for yourself.
If you look at some of the individual sections of Regulation E in Alphabet Soup, you'll see another change we've begun to implement. Subparagraphs within paragraphs within sections are being reformatted to make them easier to find and to read. The page for ยง
205.20 is a good example.
And if you look at
Supplement I to Regulation E (the Official Staff Interpretations), you'll see a third enhancement designed to make navigating the long page easier. There's a list of links that will take you directly to the section of the Supplement that you're looking for.
