We have an electronic registration process for our electronic services (i.e. Internet Banking, Bill Pay). During the registration process, customers are asked to read and agree to our Electronic Banking Agreement. When they click 'Agree', their consent gets logged into a db on the server. Once they complete their registration process, notice goes to our Acct Servcg dept who sets up the services. The db in which the consent to the agreement is housed gets backed up nightly. Question- do we have to keep the email notice that is sent to Acct Servcg from the Registration process or is the information in the db sufficient?
