Management would like to offer a chance to win $50, if the cusotmer gives us their Driver's license to update our records.

It is not open to the public, someone would have to have an account.

Lottery or not? Looking at MGL Chapter 271 Section 7. I'm confused.

I say yes it is. And I'm curious why there's a cash incentive for someone giving the Bank their license?? Our tellers check the system to see if we have it, if we don't, they ask, get it, update the system and that's it.

Yes, sounds simple. However, there has been some pushback from the customers and therefore the tellers get gun shy. They are afraid the customer will say "what's in it for me?" they have an answer, a chance to win. I know, I know. It shouldn't be that hard.

Yeah, I hear ya. Already had the convo, but we've allowed them to have it for so long without. Change is hard for some, for those of us in compliance it is our lives....
