We would like to advertise a tiered rate savings account on our web site. The higher the balance, the higher the rate. Can we say, for instance, 3.00%APY*. That would be the rate for the highest tier and the asterisk would lead the reader to information in smaller print at the bottom of the page outlining the other rates and tiers.
I really think we have to be more detailed. Or could we say Up to 3%APY?

If you mention an APY for the account, you have to provide them all, and each tier's APY should be accompanied by the min. bal. for the tier. You can put the lower tiers' info in a smaller font below the main part of the ad, but it has to be there.
