I really enjoyed the national anthem and could watch it over and over (with the sound off, of course) ::swoon::

Of the little bit my hubby and I stayed awaked for: we liked the Darth Vader ad, the talking baby ("Shh, don't speak"), and Ozzy's "What's a Beiber?" smile We only saw the "Tiny Dancer" Budweiser ad, and it was cute but not up to the standard I expect from them.

I liked the Etrade babies in the pre-game that represented Bradshaw, Howie and Strahan. That was great!

I didn't see that one, but I'm sure they'll be on again. Was the Bradshaw one bald?

Green Bay ran the ball 10 times? Without an interception? That's winning the game, especially against the Steelers defense. Especially with the number of injuries they had. As far as the Steelers "shooting themselves in the foot" give some credit where credit is due because the Packers defense did a good job of creating turnovers.

My favorite commercial of the day was the Budweiser product placement spot. You know, budweiser everywhere during a swashbuckling movie because "you get free stuff with product placement"

Ya' gotta think the movie industry is hurting what with all the trailers they had at $3,000,000 for each 30 second spot. Hubby who was devastated when his mother got rid of his original Marvel comic books is thrilled at the movies coming out. Lot of movie date nights coming up this summer. wink

Yes, I honestly think my favorite commercials yesterday were all the movie previews!

What was the deal with the absurd robo-player graphic? That thing annoyed the tar outta me.

That's Fox's little guy and he's been on every game they showed this season. I kinda liked him.

Fox has had that graphic for several years.

Well, it can get confusing when you don't sing it everyday!

That said, if being sung in front of so many peeps, I think I'd want to refresh me memory for sure!

I'm not sure why they chose her, anyways. In the past, she has butchered it.

As long as we're on the National Anthem topic...why can't whoever they get just sing the song the way it was written? Why do they have to stylize it? Do that on your next record or at your next concert. When you're starting out an event that's being telecast around the world, it's not about you, the artist. It's about the United States. Just sing it right!
