Everything about her is WAY overdone. Her makeup, hair, clothes and her rendition of the National Anthem. All of the runs and other garbage aren't necessary, for one, and, 2, it's solely the reason she lost track of where she was in the song and messed up the lyrics.
I used to like her years ago when she first came out and even up to about 5 years ago. Now, she just looks like a bad drag queen.

She does not look like Steven Tyler.

I don't think there's actually been a good halftime show since Janet and Justin and "the incident..."

That's eye candy? Really? All bleached and pierced even in a black suit? these are rhetorical questions, right? None of the men I know find her attractive either. have they had their eyes gouged out by rabid raccoons lately? Guess the old 'eye of the beholder' holds true for Peepers here. Either that or he's 'blinded by love'.

Didn't see any commercials, but my favorite play was where that one guy tackled the other guy that was holding the ball. Wow! What a play. I still have goosebumps, man.

I'm not a big country fan, by any stretch of the imagination, but I truly believe that most country artists sing the anthem closer to the way it was written and sound better doing it.
Give me Carrie Underwood or Miranda Lambert any day, if you want eye candy.
If you want a flat-out excellent Anthem, the suggestion above that a member of the Armed Services do it is an excellent one. What many people don't know is that there are professional musicians in the Armed Services. My ex-wife is one. Even she would have done better than Christina, and for free, as assigned by her Commander to do it.
Green Bay, by the way WON that game. They took those balls away through pressure on the QB and good play. The Packers D was up to the task and the Packers O is better than Pittsburgh's.
I am happy that Mendenhall did well and I really like Hines Ward a lot, so I'm happy that he got a TD, but I'm very happy that Pitt did not win that game.
Well done, Packers.

I fell asleep on the couch and slept through most of the second half and woke up only when my friend sent me a text cussing the Steelers for scoring that last time. Otherwise, I would have won the football pool!

there's still room for her Next to Lindsay Lohan? Darn, sounds like I missed a great halftime show, because I went outside to shovel. The Black Eyed Peas were shovelling something too, but it sure wasn't snow!

Christina looked fried to me. Her hair was pitiful and she may have a great voice but she butchered the song. And I agree there are certain classic songs that should be sung the way they were intended to be sung. If you want a rendition that is not just straight but actually good then listen to the way Sandi Patty sings it. Awesome! Here is a link to that NFL Broadcasters and the Etrade babies. Etrade babies

Just because you make a critical comment about something doesn't mean you dislike it or are against it! I'm not a fan of theirs by any means, but people need to let it go. Sheesh!

And so no matter what Michael Vick did, he's a pretty good QB so you can appreciate his play?

As Truff Said - Singing the National Anthem is not about You, "The Artist". Just learn the story of when and how the song was written & sing it with respect.
Now back on topic : As B.F. said The Pack only ran the ball 10 times. Going in all the commentators said that G.B. felt the could pick up the Steelers' Blitzes and hit the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th receiver. That was their game plan and it worked! The 3 Steeler turnovers were caused by the defense: 1. Int caused by the Def lineman hitting Big Ben's arm 2. Int caused by defensive back jumping the route at the last second and holding on to the ball during the collission 3. Fumble caused by 2 linebackers sandwiching the ball carrier
What surprised me was the lack of Blitzes by The Pack, I think there were less than everyone expected. GO PACK GO

Here is an odd question for you Texans most likely:
Instead of promoting either Dallas or Texas, so many of the itmes I saw stated "North Texas 2011". How come?

I am a Texan but am 330 miles from the Dallas, Ft. Worth Metroplex. But my guess is because the old stadium was in Irving (NW Dallas), the new stadium is in Arlington (between Dallas and Ft. Worth) and by saying the N. Texas area hosted the Super Bowl they could get money from many surrounding municipalities / cities for the big event.

Agreed - they disagreed with Bush's policies and got shellacked for saying so. So what about all of the folks who disagree with Obama's policies? Do they also dislike America?
