Mr. Mole was awakened one morning by his wife, who was holding a tray filled with food. "Happy Valentine's Day, Dear. I made you your favorite breakfast" she said.
"Oh, carp!" he thought. "I've forgotten Valentine's Day, AGAIN!!" He scarfed down his breakfast, then he snuck outside and quickly gathered some of Mrs. Mole's favorite flowers. He rushed back inside and stood just outside of the bedroom, waiting for her to finish getting ready for work, hiding the bunch of flowers behind his backside. When she
finally emerged he gave her a kiss, said "Happy Valentine's Day!" and presented the flowers to her.
She admired the beautiful flowers for a momemnt, then placed them to her nose and took a deep sniff. "Thank you, Dear, they are beautiful. But why do they smell like
Mole-asses??"
