I submitted my HMDA data on 2-7-11. Within the next hour, I recieved my Edit Report. I faxed the edit report back on 2-8-11. I still have not recieved any type of confirmation that I have submitted successfully. I emailed HMDA help on 2-11-11 stating this and still haven't heard any type of response. Is this normal? Should I be concerned with Monday being a holiday and the end of the month quickly approaching?

Keep trying to contact them. This happened at my institution once, and after getting ahold of HMDA Help we found out that we had missed part of our Quality Edit response that they needed to confirm our submission. As soon as we had that in we received our final confirmation.

I would recommend putting the "cover sheet" information on all your communication so they will be able to find your submission faster.

It took me a month to get a response after I filed my edit report last year. This is their busy season. Most of us go by no news is good news. Just wait. You'll get it when they get to it.

So am I ok if I don't receive that confirmation before March 1st?

yes. You just have to file before March 1st. Great numbers of us file on the last possible day and don't get an edit report or anything else till days into March.
