check out icba, independent community bankers of america. two weeks to get your certification. aba has some schooling as well. i attended icba. very helpfull.

Take Essentials of Risk Based - Internal Audit.
It's offered by BAI and they usually have a class each year in Chicago. www.bai.org

The Institute of Internal Auditors does not have a school, but offers seminars at all levels and covering all audit topics. Their website is www.theiia.org.
